Every year, the San Diego High School ROTC cadets go to Admiral's Baker's Field where they meet and interact with the cadets from the schools in the district. There, they compete against the other schools in events such as the Basketball Tournament, Tug-O-War and Bat Spin. Cadets from the schools help with the cooking of the food that will be served there. There is a lot of energy and motivation within the schools and their teams.

To get prepared for the Cadet Picnic Competitions, the teams practice so that they can be ready for it. The support and motivation from the team members and the rest of the Cadets make the competitions enjoyable and a great experience to remember. Everyone is there to have fun and cheer each other on. The Cadets are eager to return to meet their friends and compete once more in the competitions.
